Regional Engagement Workshop Series

As part of GlobalSkin's ongoing work with its regional networks, we are launching the Regional Engagement Workshop Series in early 2026 that brings you—our Members—together for a set of virtual sessions focused on all six World Health Organization (WHO) regions. Through facilitated, structured discussions, the Series creates space for:

  • Sharing experiences
  • Identifying skin patient priorities and needs
  • Exploring health system challenges and opportunities
  • Preparing GlobalSkin Members to engage in regional and national advocacy including participation in WHO consultations

Insights from these workshops will be documented and synthesized to inform regional reports. The reports will inform the World Health Organization’s Global Action Plan on the Skin Diseases Resolution, strengthen GlobalSkin’s regional networks and most importantly equip our Members with messaging to amplify the work they do in their local setting.

How to Get Involved

We invite Members to be a part of this initiative by joining us for the kickoff webinar on January 28. and then registering for the workshop relevant to their region taking place in February. These steps are explained in more detail below:

a. Attend the Kickoff Webinar

The series will begin with a virtual Kickoff Webinar on January 28 at 10:00 EST, open to all GlobalSkin Members.

This session will:

  • Mark the official launch of the Regional Engagement Workshop Series.
  • Outline the value the Workshops offer in supporting Members’ local advocacy efforts.
  • Cover what level of participation is needed from Members to make these workshops a success.

b. Register for Your Regional Workshop

Following the kickoff webinar, Members are invited to join a Regional Engagement Workshop aligned with their WHO region. The dates and timings of the workshops are as follows:

Each regional workshop will be followed by a short survey, to be completed by March 22, to help capture additional insights. The survey link will be emailed to you once the workshop is your region has concluded.
